Russian Forces “Completely Liberated” Azovstal Steel Plant In Mariupol, Defense Ministry Claims

In the latest updates, Russian powers have “completely liberated” the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The ministry in a statement on Friday said that the underground offices of the endeavor, where the aggressors were stowing away, are in complete control of the Russian military.

“The last group of 531 militants surrendered today,” it said, adding that “an aggregate of 2,439 Azov Nazis and Ukrainian fighters had set out their arms since May 16”. As indicated by the explanation, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has answered to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the finishing of the activity.

Earlier today, a Russian missile had struck a Ukrainian cultural center in the eastern Kharkiv region that injured seven people. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the people injured included an 11 years old child as well.

The Finance ministers and the central bank governors of the G7 wealthy democracies said that they have aided Ukraine with $19.8 billion and have pledged to give more if needed.

Following the Ukraine-Russia war, Russia’s Gazprom has halted the gas exports to neighboring Finland. This came after the Nordic country refused to pay the supplier in roubles. Russia further rushed forward two payments on their international debts. Meanwhile, Germany’s finance minister informed that the possibility of seizing Russian state assets to help rebuild Ukraine stands still.
