Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and former Union minister Renuka Choudary today urged veteran party leaders to get ready to do sacrifices in the State to ensure the victory of the party in the upcoming Assembly elections. She said she was also ready to sacrifice to ensure the victory of the party.
“I am ready to do any kind of sacrifice for the victory of the party. I will not contest in the upcoming elections even if there was a need to do so. All the senior party leaders should also do the same thing and sacrifice their seats,” she said. Renuka also stressed the need to bring balance in the allocation of seats by allocating the Assembly tickets to leaders from all communities of the State,” she said. She made it clear that the sole objective of the party was to defeat ruling TRS in the State. (NSS)
