Sai Pallavi Set to Shine in ‘Amaran’ and ‘Ramayana,’ Shares Insights on Portraying Real-Life Heroes

Popular actress Sai Pallavi, known for her impactful performances across South Indian cinema, is all set to release her highly anticipated film *Amaran*, which will premiere this Friday to coincide with Deepavali celebrations. The film, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, is inspired by the life and sacrifice of Major Mukund Varadarajan, an Indian Army hero who gave his life in service of the nation. Sai Pallavi, promoting the Telugu version of *Amaran* in Hyderabad, shared her experience of working on this emotionally charged project.

During her Hyderabad promotions, Sai Pallavi revealed that she met with Major Mukund’s family to understand the deep pride and sorrow they carry for their son’s sacrifice. “The parents speak highly of their son, proud of the life he lived and gave for the country. Although they deeply miss him, they’ve shown incredible strength and grace,” Sai Pallavi said, moved by her interaction with the family. She expressed that the film holds special significance to her, as she felt drawn to the story beyond the scope or length of her role. “When I got this offer, I didn’t think about my role or length as I wanted to do this film,” she said.

Apart from *Amaran*, Sai Pallavi is also set to star as Sita in the upcoming mythological epic *Ramayana*, directed by Nitish Tiwari. “I feel incredibly lucky to be offered the role of Sita in my career. I’ve heard of her strength and grace since childhood, and I’ll be performing this role as a devotee of Sita,” Sai Pallavi shared. While the actress remains tight-lipped about specific details due to contractual obligations, she expressed excitement for this role, considering it a spiritual and career-defining moment.
