Sand Artist in Odisha Congratulates Joe Biden and Kamala Harris with 25-Foot-Long Sculpture

Bhubaneswar: Well-known sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has made a 25-feet sand sculpture to mark the political election triumph of US President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris at the Puri beach in Odisha.

Pattnaik has made a sand sculpture of both the leaders to congratulate them on the historic triumph.

He made use of around 10 tonnes of sand and took 6 hours to finish the sculpture.

Pattnaik stated, “We are very happy that the first time a woman of Indian origin was elected as Vice President. I would like to congratulate Kamala Harris.”

 

He has made many sand sculptures for the US political election.

Padma awardee Pattnaik has partaken in more than 60 international sand art contests and festivals around the globe and won several awards for the nation.

He generally attempts to give a social message around the world through his sand sculptures.

On November 6, Pattnaik pointed out the dilemma of millions who are waiting eagerly for the final outcomes of US political elections through sand art.

Biden won against Trump in a closely contested political election and will be the 46th president of the United States. At 78 years, he is the oldest elected President throughout the history of the US.

In his third try at the White House, Biden, a four-decade Washington figure as a Senator and afterward a vice president, got more than 74 million votes, 4,000,000 more than Trump, and more than any other presidential candidate.

Kamala Harris is furthermore the first woman, Black American, and Asian-American to be the Vice President of the United States.

In the past, Sudarsan Pattnaik has used his talent to wish other popular people as well. On 5th November, he used his skills to wish the Indian captain Virat Kohli on his birthday.
