Hyderabad: Former Union minister Sarve Sathyanarayana has predicted that there was a chance of alliance between the arch rivals Congress and TDP in the coming elections.
Speaking at a meeting organized by the Medchal District Congress Committee at Boduppal here on Sunday where several TDP and TRS activists joined the Congress party in the presence of TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Sarve said there was chance that the TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu may come forward to join hands with the Congress party. He exuded confidence that the Congress would win 100 seats in 2019 elections easily and Uttam will become Chief Minister.
Sarve also wished that AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi to become Prime Minister and he wanted to become a Union Minister in Rahul’s Cabinet. Finding fault with Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Sarve said one crore dalits cast their vote believing his assurance that the first CM of the Telangana State would be a dalit.
Uttam said the poll survey they conducted revealed that the Congress party would come to power if conducted elections immediately. He also alleged that KCR tuned the system in favor of him. (NSS)
