Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met with UK Defense Minister John Healey on Thursday in Riyadh, discussing initiatives to deepen the Saudi-British strategic partnership and enhance regional stability. The meeting focused on defense cooperation, shared security priorities, and joint efforts to tackle regional challenges.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the ministers explored ways to strengthen defense collaboration and discussed their shared vision for bolstering both regional and international security. “We also discussed our joint efforts to address regional challenges, as well as our shared vision to promote regional and international security and stability,” Prince Khalid stated.
Healey’s visit marked his first trip to Saudi Arabia since taking office after the Labour Party’s election victory in July.
