Saudi Deputy Tourism Minister Conducts Inspections in Makkah Ahead of Haj

As part of preparations for the upcoming Haj season, Deputy Minister of Licensing and Classification at the Ministry of Tourism, Abdulmuhsen Al-Mazyad, has launched a series of field visits to hospitality establishments in Makkah. These inspections are aimed at evaluating the readiness of hotels and related facilities to welcome pilgrims and ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia’s tourism laws and executive regulations.

During the visits, Al-Mazyad is closely reviewing whether establishments have obtained the necessary operational licenses from the Ministry of Tourism. His inspections are part of broader efforts to maintain high service standards and uphold regulatory compliance across the Kingdom’s hospitality sector during one of the most important periods of the year.

In addition to on-site inspections, Al-Mazyad and his delegation have met with hospitality investors and operators at the Makkah Chamber of Commerce. These discussions focused on strengthening sustainable partnerships between the government and tourism sector stakeholders.
