Hyderabad: Ministry of Statistics & Program Implementation, Government of India, as part of its Nationwide exercise, is conducting the seventh Economic Census in Hyderabad district from December 5 to 31. In this census, details of economic activity of all unregistered establishments engaged in the production and distribution of goods and services other than for the sole consumption of their households.
The Common Service Centre (CSC) e-Governance Services India Limited has engaged enumerators who will collect data by visiting door to door. The data includes what type of economic activity is taking place in every household, income-earning by them, the number of laborers working in these units, etc. This time the data is being collected through a mobile App.
G.Giridhar, Senior Manager (Telangana), CSC e-Governance Services India Limited has requested the people residing in Hyderabad district limits to cooperate with the enumerators when they visit them and provide correct data which will help the Government to formulate new policies accordingly.
