Two dozen people were killed Saturday during an attack by armed militants at a military parade in Tehran.
The state-run IRNA news agency said gunmen were dressed in Guard uniforms and targeted a riser where military and police commanders were sitting.
The News Agency reported that two gunmen were killed and other two were arrested. Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote on Twitter that Iran will respond swiftly and decisively in defence of Iranian lives.
meanwhile, the Islamic State group claimed responsibility for a deadly shooting at a military parade in southwestern Iran today, it’s propaganda agency Amaq said.
The statement was posted on Amaq accounts on messaging application Telegram.
