Shiv Sena Secretary and Spokesperson MLA Dr. Manisha Kayande has taken a strong stance against the controversial reality show Bigg Boss OTT 3, criticizing it for what she describes as “vulgarity” and “inappropriate content.” The MLA’s comments come in response to the show’s airing of contentious scenes involving contestant Armaan Malik.
In an interview with ANI, Dr. Kayande expressed her disapproval of the show, specifically highlighting Armaan Malik, who has been a focal point of controversy due to his open admission of being married to both Payal Malik and Kritika Malik. “Bigg Boss OTT 3 is a reality show, but the content being depicted is absolute vulgarity,” she said. “The YouTube influencer Armaan Malik is participating in this show and has crossed all limits of vulgarity.”
Dr. Kayande revealed that the Shiv Sena has formally requested the Mumbai police to take action against the show and its participants. A letter has been submitted to the police, demanding intervention due to the public display of what she terms as vulgarity. “How does this influence young minds?” she questioned, emphasizing the need for regulatory measures.

In addition to addressing local authorities, Dr. Kayande announced plans to approach the Information and Broadcasting Minister at the center. She called for legislative action to regulate OTT platforms, suggesting that actors involved and the show’s CEO should be held accountable.
The criticism from Shiv Sena underscores the ongoing debate about the content and impact of reality TV shows, as well as the broader conversation about regulation of digital media platforms.
