Shiv Sena to contest all 119 seats alone in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana unit of Shiv Sena party has announced it would field candidates in all the 119 Assembly constituencies in the Telangana State. It also announced that party supremo Uddhav Thackeray was inviting Sri Peetam pontiff Paripoornananda Swami into the party and would announce him as its chief ministerial candidate for the State.
In a pressnote here, State general secretary of Shiv Sena A Sudarshan has stated that Shiv Sena which has 18 MPs in Parliament, 68 MLAs and three Rajya Sabha members, has been playing a pivotal role in the politics of the country and striving to strengthen Hindutva and to bring about unity of all Hindutva forces in the country.
Reminding that Shiv Sena has been giving protection to Hindu Mutts, Peetams, temples and Dharmic institutions in the country, Sudarshan said Shiv Sena would release its manifesto soon and bear election expenditure of all the candidates. (NSS)
