Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore here on Friday decided to form a new department in a review meeting with officers for land pooling in construction of mega projects in the city.
Speaking to the media, Dana Kishore said the GHMC decided to form a department for acquisition of lands and buildings for the upcoming mega projects in the city. The department will look after land pooling for the projects of SRDP, road widening, double bedrooms all worth Rs 25,000 crore and Rs 10,000 crore for storm water drains.
He said the department will hasten surveys, prepare list of assets and give notifications. He also said an Additional Commissioner will be appointed in taking administration of land pooling department and coordinating with the revenue officers. (NSS)
