Hyderabad: ‘Jaibharat Just Vote Telangana 2018-19 Committee’ has launched a campaign to educate the voters against selling their vote for money and liquor. Committee President Nallaa Radhakrishna and general secretary Satyanarayana Gola, released a poster in this regard at a media meet at Hydergudad today.
Speaking to the media later they said they are making efforts to create an awareness among the voters on the need to exercise their franchise after thinking about welfare, social justice, eligibility, morale and efficiency aspects and desist from selling their vote for money, liquor or any other allurements. They said they would campaign through the posters in all the constituencies across the State.
They said there is need to stop flow of money and liquor in the elections Those who sell their vote for money or liquor are equal to the dead persons, and it amounts to mortgaging their five years future to a pittance. People should feel shy of selling their votes, they added. (NSS)
