Hyderabad- G Eroji Sub-Inspector of Police belong to Chaitanyapur Police Station under Rachakonda Commissionerate was caught red handed today at 5:15 pm on the road near Srinagar Colony, L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad when he demanded and accepted rupees twenty thousand rupees from the complainant B. Karthik Advocate, Hyderabad for showing official favour. He demanded bribe for filing charge sheet early in crime no. 75/2018 u/s 363, 354 (d) of the IPC and section 12 of POCSO Act of Police Station Chaitanyapuri wherein the complainant is the accused.
According to the Press Release of ACB the accused Police Officer G. Eroji Sub Inspector of Police, Chaitanypuri Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate is being arrested and produced before the Hon’ble Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases, Hyderabad.
ACB asked the people to intimate them on their toll free number. It said in the case of demand of bribe by any Sub-Inspector of Police or any officials of the Police Department the public is requested to contact toll free number of ACB i.e. 1064 for taking action as per law.
