In two separate cases in Chilkalguda, two minor girls were allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted. The suspects in both cases have been arrested.
Mohammed Imtiaz, 21, a resident of Amberpet who befriended the victim when he lived in Warasiguda in Chilkalguda police station limits a year ago and stayed in touch with her since then, was arrested in the first case.
The girl was sexually assaulted a few days ago when he took her along with him. After he was arrested and brought before the court, he was sentenced to jail time.
A second incident involved the arrest of Mohd Nawaz, 21, also of Amberpet, who befriended the victim over Instagram and sexually assaulted her on the promise of marriage. An arrest was made after the police were notified. The police have previously arrested both suspects for alleged involvement in property crimes. Both have been detained under the Property Crimes.

Women in Hyderabad were raped on the pretext of marriage
According to the police, a 23-year-old man was charged with rape in Trimulgherry on Wednesday for sexually exploiting his 20-year-old relative under the pretext of marriage.
Earlier this week, the victim approached the police and told them she had been in love with her relative for five years. B Sravan Kumar, an inspector from Trimulgherry, said the accused promised her a marriage about a year ago, following which they had sexual relations multiple times.
Recently, however, the accused refused to marry the victim and began avoiding her.
According to the complaint of the victim, the Trimulgherry police registered a case against the accused under sections 376 (rape), 504 (insult) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
A medical examination and counselling were provided to the victim. The accused was taken into custody by police on Thursday.
