Hyderabad: Telangana Intermediate board officials have reportedly withdrawn their plans to remove some syllabus from the social subject after criticism from various quarters.
There was confusion, chaos on the removal of some parts in lessons by the Telangana Intermediate board. The plan and proposal were to prune content in history, economics, and political science.
Both freedom fighters, senior citizens, social reformers, and the educated had opposed the intermediate board plan to cut short syllabus. Inter board secretary Syed Omar Jaleel said that there were no plans to remove the content in the syllabus. We had only planned to prune and it is only a proposal and no decision taken.
The syllabus of National leaders, social reforms, and freedom fighters will not be removed her said.
