Hyderabad: The State government has introduced a new IT application to make payments in Civil Supplies wing and in ration shops of public distribution system (PDS). The Civil Supplies wing has connected with ration shops across the State and the people can make payments to the dealers through the application.
IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and Civil Supplies wing Chief Akun Sabharwal said the new IT application is useful for people to make payments. They said that the application can be availed by depositing amount from Me-Seva centers and all the PDS dealers have been connected with the same. Jayesh Ranjan further said that this will help avoid use of cash at the ration shops and people having this application can make payments.
The people can make digital payments and needless to pay cash. The T Wallet will prove handy for the people who get essential commodities from the ration shops. As many as 7000 ration shops in the state are connected with the T App, Akun Sabharwal said. (NSS)
