Hyderabad: Telangana Auto Drivers JAC has demanded that the Weights & Measures Department immediately attend to Auto Meter Sealing and testing work properly or hand over the work back to the Transport Department.
Addressing the media here today, TADJAC convener Mohd Amanullah Khan alleged that the meter sealing inspectors were working according to their wish and hardly attending offices due to which the auto drivers were put to hardship in getting their meter seal certificate renewed on time. He also warned that if immediate action was not taken in this regard within a week, the JAC will be forced to storm the Weights and Measures Department head office at Golconda crossroads here.
TADJAC leaders Vamshi Krishna, M.A. Saleem, Mirza Rafat Baig and Mohd. Azeemuddin were also present. (NSS)
