As per the latest reports, Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) is intending to introduce solar-based power plants of 20,000 MW limit at an expense of Rs 70,000 crore by 2030.
A senior authority of the Tangedco said that this progression is to decrease the quantum of force bought from privately owned businesses, to build the environmentally friendly power assets, and to lessen the state’s carbon impression.
Cost of introducing 1 MW of Solar power will associate with Rs 3.5 crore.
The partnership is probably going to finish the delicate by March 20 and the work will initiate in April 2022, the authority said.

The spot of introducing the sun oriented power plant will be finished following the proposal of the expert of the task in view of the climatic circumstances.
The authority said that for introducing 1 MW of force, five sections of land of land is required and for the 20000 MW power plant, around 1,00,000 sections of land of land will be required.
The Chief Minister’s office has effectively guided the locale authorities to distinguish land distributes, organization said.
Tamil Nadu Power Department is hoping to finish the development of a 1000 MW power plant before the year’s over. Tangedco has put a cutoff time of 2030 to finish the 20,000 MW project.

In Tamil Nadu, the absolute introduced power limit is 37,500 MW, of which 15,250 MW is obtained through sustainable energy, the partnership official said.
