In the latest reports, the Selaiyur police in Chennai have commenced a probe following a complaint from an individual whose wife was asked to remove her hijab when they had gone to a school to look for admission for their four-year-old child.
Ashiq Meeran of Tambaram, in his objection, said that he and his better half had gone to a tuition based school in East Tambaram for getting their child confessed to the LKG class. He said that a worker of the school requested that his better half remove her hijab expressing that the school doesn’t permit wearing hijab on its premises.
The couple then went to the head and grumbled about the occurrence.
Station House official of Selayiur police headquarters let IANS know that as indicated by the complainant and his significant other, the chief was strong of the stand taken by the representative and let the couple know that the school doesn’t allow ladies wearing hijab inside its premises.

Meeran and his better half emerged from the school and alongside other relatives and family members held up a grumbling with the Selayiur police.
A cop said that they will meet the school head and get a reaction with respect to the objection and furthermore will address different educators and staff individuals from the school.

Tamil Nadu school training pastor Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi while addressing IANS said: “This is lamentable and I should beware of what happened in the school on Thursday.
