Hyderabad: A woman, working with TCS, was killed when an RTC bus hit her two-wheeler at Banjara Hills here on Tuesday afternoon.
The woman was identified as Sohini Saxena working with Tata Consultancy Services Limited on the basis of an ID card she was wearing and was going on a Honda Activa when she was hit by a Barkatpura depot bus and died on spot. Angered over the incident, irate public damaged the window panes of the TSRTC bus.
The driver, who is reported to be a temporary RTC driver, alleged that the brakes of the bus had failed. Later, he was thrashed by people. The deceased was going from Masab Tank towards Banjara Hills Road No. 12 graveyard side when the incident happened. Police rushed to the spot and sent the body to Osmania Medical College for post-mortem. (NSS)
