In the video, the male teacher is seen making an unsettling request to the female teacher, suggesting that she will find her work easier and her digital attendance taken care of if she agrees to his proposition. When asked about the condition, the teacher makes a gesture towards his cheek, indicating he wants a kiss.
The female teacher firmly rejects the proposal, responding, “Ye to hum nahi maangenge.. ye to gandi baat hai sir (I will not agree to this… this is all dirty work).” Despite her clear refusal, the male teacher is seen smiling in response.

The video has sparked outrage online, with many demanding immediate dismissal of the teacher involved. Comments on social media have called for strict action against him, with some users suggesting that the female teacher should have slapped him for his inappropriate demand.
The controversy over the digital attendance system in Uttar Pradesh had already been a significant issue, leading to the government’s decision to suspend its implementation. The system faced widespread protests from teachers who argued it added undue pressure and was being introduced without addressing their other longstanding demands, such as recognition as government employees.
Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh announced that the digital attendance system would be put on hold after meeting with teachers’ bodies. An investigative group will present its findings on the digitization process in the coming months.
This latest incident has intensified calls for reform and strict measures to address misconduct in the educational system.
