Telangana: Bandi Sanjay calls Hussain Sagar as “Vinayak Sagar”

The Telangana BJP President, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, referred to Hussain Sagar as Vinayaka Sagar while criticizing the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS)-led Telangana government for allegedly not arranging the Ganesh festival.

BJP Chief said immersion would take place in “Vinayak Sagar”, referring to Hussain Sagar. Furthermore, he alleged that the Telangana government failed completely to plan the Ganesha Navratri celebrations.

Kumar said that every year, it’s the same thing. After Bhagya Nagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti protested on the streets, the government started making arrangements. AIMIM headquarters in Darussalam are celebrating while Hindus are struggling. That’s the state of the TRS party, he added.

There will be large immersions in two days, but even the minimum arrangements haven’t been made yet. In the morning, only a few cranes were installed, but they are not yet operational. Around 60 cranes were installed last time. Hindus should take note of this condition, Kumar said.

Hindu festivals are also belittled by the TRS government, according to the BJP Chief.

Hindus should attend the Vinayak immersion program at “Vinayak Sagar”. Attempts are being made by the government to belittle the Hindu community. Over the past four or five years, the government has planned to lessen the value of the festival. We will hold the immersion in the “Vinayak Sagar”, said Kumar while speaking out against the TRS government.

In a statement on Monday, Bandi Sanjay warned the KCR government not to create hurdles at the Ganesh Nimajjanam in Tank Bund in Hyderabad based on Supreme Court orders.

He said it was “unfortunate” that every year during the immersion of Ganesh idols, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government creates a “tense atmosphere.”

Devotees will not tolerate it if the government does not cooperate with them in immersing Ganesh idols at their convenience. Hindus are not afraid of KCR, who is trying to bring law and order in order to get votes from one particular community, he said.
