Telangana CM KCR to Contest from Two Constituencies in Next Elections

BRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has stated his intention to run in the next Telangana elections from two constituencies: his current Gajwel and Kamareddy.

He released the list of BRS candidates for the 115 Assembly elections on August 21 at 2:38 p.m. during a media briefing at Telangana Bhavan.

The Chief Minister said that the list for the constituencies of Boath, Khanapur, Wyra, Korutla, Uppal, Asifabad, and Metpally had changed seven times. The party, however, is yet to name candidates for four constituencies: Goshamahal, Nampally, Jangaon, and Narsapur.

Despite Malkajgiri MLA Hanumantha Rao’s request for a ticket for his son from Medak, the BRS has opted to stick with the current candidate, Padma Devandar Reddy.

Padma is one of six women nominated by the BRS party in the 115 constituencies. G. Lasya, Nanditha, Kova Lakshmi, Banot Haripriya Naik, Bade Nagajyothi, and Gongidi Sunitha each received a ticket to Secunderabad Cantonment, Asifabad, Yallandu, Mulugu, and Alair.
