On Monday, the Telangana School Education Department announced the implementation of half day schools between 8 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. across all primary, upper primary, and high schools under all managements, including government, aided, and private management, beginning from March 15 and lasting until the last working day of the academic year 2021-22.
In a notification, Director, School Education, Telangana stated that special classes will continue to prepare class 10 students for the coming SSC public exams in May 2022.

The Director of School Education, in a notification, said: All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state are hereby directed to communicate the above orders to the schools functioning under all managements and monitor the implementation.
Temperature rise in March
As summer approaches, the people of Hyderabad are facing the brunt of the heat beginning in March. The city people will have to brace themselves for the blistering heat, with the maximum temperature inching closer to 40 degrees Celsius in the coming months. The temperature is about 35 degrees Celsius. During the last 24 hours, the highest temperature recorded in GHMC areas was 35.7 degrees Celsius at Suleman Nagar, and the lowest temperature was 16.6 degrees Celsius in Rajendranagar.
