TRS has reportedly hired Prashant Kishor for the next assembly election scheduled for the second half of 2023. Chief Minister KCR acknowledged on March 21 that Indian political strategist, Prashant Kishor, is working with him, adding that he is his best friend who he’s known for 7-8 years. Furthermore, he believes that Prashant Kishor has never worked for money.
In the past, the political strategy group has worked with Mamata Banerjee, Nitish Kumar, Amarinder Singh, and Narendra Modi.
There are now reports that Prashant Kishor and his team have analyzed the pulse of the people in Telangana.
Prashant Kishor’s report is said to have focused on whether or not people are satisfied with the TRS government.
There were also recommendations in the report that said, “Justice should be done to those leaders who did not receive posts during TRS’s two-term governance, transfers of government employees and recruitment should be done in one year, problems of district, zonal, and multi-zonal employees should be solved, and welfare programmes should be highlighted.”
2023 Telangana Elections
Elections are approaching in Telangana, and all parties are preparing for them.
Telangana’s legislative assembly elections are scheduled for December 2023 or earlier. In the 119-seat assembly, K Chandrashekar Rao leads the TRS with 88 seats. The Congress party holds 19 seats in the state, followed by Owaisi’s AIMIM with 7. The BJP managed just one seat out of 118 in the previous elections.

Despite mounting challenges from the BJP, the Telangana Chief Minister further predicted that his party would win 95-105 seats in the 2023 Assembly elections.
Sources say BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah may visit Telangana on April 14. BJP has begun surveys to find out what people expect from the party and what they want from the government.
