Over the next two days, many districts in Telangana are anticipated to experience a drop in minimum temperatures by 2°C to 3°C. Vikarabad marked the lowest temperature at 13°C on Tuesday morning, with Kumaram Bheem and Rangareddy recording 13.4°C and 13.5°C, respectively.
Several districts, including Sangareddy, Yadadri, Adilabad, Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, Siddipet, Sircilla, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Hanmakonda, Mancherial, Medak, and Warangal, registered night temperatures around 14°C. In Hyderabad, Rajendranagar reported the lowest at 15.2°C. According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), minimum temperatures across Telangana are expected to range from 16°C to 19°C, while maximum temperatures will be in the range of 33°C to 36°C.
In the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area, minimum temperatures are projected to be between 18°C and 20°C, with maximum temperatures ranging from 31°C to 33°C. The period from October to December is known as the Northeast monsoon season.

The normal annual rainfall for the state is approximately 919.0 mm, with about 12% of this rainfall occurring during the Northeast monsoon season (113.2 mm). The NE monsoon season (October-December 2023) is expected to bring normal to above-normal rainfall to the state.
