Recognizing the significance of this global platform, the Telangana government has outlined a comprehensive action plan aimed at enhancing the state’s international brand image and attracting foreign investment. In an official release, the government announced its intent to use the Miss World pageant to highlight Telangana’s rich historical, cultural, and spiritual heritage.

Special initiatives have been launched to promote the state as a “Multidimensional Tourism Hub,” with the pageant acting as a key driver. The government plans to spotlight UNESCO-recognized heritage sites, eco-tourism destinations, and spiritual landmarks to boost international awareness and appeal.

In 2024 alone, Telangana welcomed 1,55,113 international tourists. Officials now aim to significantly increase these numbers by leveraging the visibility and prestige associated with the Miss World contest.
