Telangana Tourism Conclave concludes

Hyderabad: The first three days Telangana Tourism Conclave 2018 organized by FTAPCCI in association with the Global Panorama Showcase Ltd, Nagpur and Telangana Tourism, Government of Telangana concluded here in the city at Hotel Marriott this evening.

According to Hari Kishan Valmiki, Chairman, Organizing Committee, Tourism Conclave, FTAPCCI, the first day was dedicated for knowledge sharing, education and skill development. The conclave received an overwhelming response. 1230 participants from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and six other countries and travel agents and tour operators from tier II and tier III cities of both Telugu states took part in the conclave.

The first day of the Conclave was focused on educating and empowering tour operators of tier 2 and 3 cities in the state. The subsequent two days B 2 B meet was organized. It was unique in many senses. It was paperless and plastic less event. No exhibitor carried brochures, and no two people exchanged business cards/visiting cards. Everything happened seamlessly through an APP, a stop shop APP for all tours and travel industry called Global Panorama Showcase(GPS) informed Hari Kishan Valmiki.

Giving details Hari Kishan Valmiki, said the Day 2 and 3 was purely Business to Business meets. TrueJet, Bengal Tourism, few other state tourism boards, foreign Tourism Boards participated. Through this Business to Business meeting, 50,000 business meetings could take place over 500 tourism products and services between buyers and sellers from hundred companies. Some of the participants include Ramoji Film City, Telangana Tourism Board, AP Tourism, Dream Valley, Airlines like True Jet, India Go, Oman Air, Air Arabia, Latam Airlines; Tourism Boards like Holland, Philippines, Mauritius Tourism, etc. Others include Interglobe Technology—the ultimate travel technology; Fxkart.com—India’s first digital remittance management portal; Amigo Travels that integrates with Rail Europe; TBO DMC—the global destination management company, Cruise Operators, NIMA—Network of Indian MICE Agents and others.
