In a move aimed at enhancing commuter convenience, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has launched a new Metro Combi Ticket priced at just ₹20 per trip. The initiative allows General Bus Ticket (GBT) Metro Express and ordinary monthly bus pass holders to travel in metro deluxe buses across the Greater Hyderabad Region.
According to TGSRTC officials, the scheme is designed to offer a seamless and hassle-free travel experience by extending metro deluxe bus access to a wider group of passengers. The new facility provides an upgraded and more comfortable option for daily commuters, especially those who already hold monthly passes for standard services.
“The combi ticket gives existing pass holders an opportunity to travel in metro deluxe buses for a nominal additional cost, enhancing their daily commute,” the corporation said in an official press release.

The tickets will be issued by bus conductors on request and will be valid only for a single journey. This flexibility is expected to benefit office-goers and frequent city travelers who wish to opt for more comfortable travel without switching to an entirely different fare plan.
With this initiative, TGSRTC continues to promote accessible and commuter-friendly transport options in Hyderabad’s expanding public transport system.
