Three Arrested for Issuing Fake Certificates in Manchal Tahsildar Office

Three individuals, including an outsourced computer operator, were arrested in connection with the issuance of fake certificates at the Manchal Tahsildar’s office. The arrests were made following a complaint from the Tahsildar, who uncovered the fraudulent activities.

The suspects, identified as Puram Suresh Babu, Goru Ravi Kumar, and Patti Ravi Kumar, were presented to the media by Manchal Circle Inspector Babya Naik and Sub-Inspector Rajinikar. Puram Suresh Babu, who was working as an outsourced employee in the Tahsildar’s office, is accused of masterminding the scheme. He allegedly conspired with Goru Ravi Kumar, a private employee, and Patti Ravi Kumar, the manager of a Meeseva Kendra, to issue fake caste and income certificates to non-locals.

The fraudulent operation involved issuing certificates from the Vanasthalipuram Meeseva Kendra using a single phone number and processing them as a group without the knowledge of the office operator. Each certificate was reportedly sold for a fee of Rs. 5,000.
