Amravati: Actor turned Pawan Kalyan led Janasena Party of Andhra Pradesh today view that there is no public approval has taken to decentralize the Capital of the State. The party which is against the shifting of the Capital held a teleconference on the current political developments and capitals in Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, the party also expressed its grief on the deaths in the incident of Vishakha HSL in which Eleven personnel, including four permanent employees of the company, lost their lives when a huge new crane collapsed on them at Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) here on Saturday.
Party has pointed out that the time has come for the legal fight against the shifting the capital of the state. The state government has to neglect the farmer’s demands. The teleconference was attended by party leaders Nadendla Manohar former speaker of United Andhra Pradesh legislative Assembly, Nagababu, T. Chandrasekhar, and PAC members.
Speaking at the meeting, Janasena leader Nagababu asserted that Farmers have been given lands as per the agreement with the state government. Janasena party has been following the same policy from the beginning regarding capital. he said.
Another senior leader Nadendla Manohar criticized the decision to move the capital as a personal agenda and not a government decision “There have been landing scandals in the capital”. Should the perpetrators of the scandals be prosecuted and punished? Pawan Kalyan had earlier visited the capital and inspected the lands. He is in support of the ryots and has been saying from the beginning that farmers should not be harmed, ”Manohar said.
It may be recalled that the farmers of the incumbent Capital Amravati have been agitating on this issue and expressing their resentment on decentralizing the capital. Principal opposition TDP has also supported the cause of the peasants.
