Amaravathi: Tirupati added another feather in its cap. It achieved second place across the nation in terms of cities providing security and protection. Tirupati got this place with the policies implementing by the Andhra Pradesh state police. The Union Urban Development Ministry examined 111 cities across the nation in terms of security and protection announced second place to Tirupati. It may be mentioned here that Tirupati achieved fourth place in best living cities list. Friendly policing maintenance was ensuring full security to customers in hotels, railway station, bus stand, airport besides providing full security to devotees. Andhra Pradesh DGP RP Takur expressed happiness over second place for Tirupati in terms of security and protection. He said that the police department will initiate several steps in future.
It may be mentioned here that Andhra Pradesh state achieved number one place at national level in ‘ease of doing business’. The state was also in front row in ‘ease of living index’ too. Four cities from Andhra Pradesh state were being selected for providing facilities to live happily and two cities were among the top ten cities. (NSS)
