TJS, CPI Give Ultimatum to Congress on Seat Sharing

Hyderabad: As the suspense of seat sharing among the  Mahakutmi continued, Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) and CPI have given an ultimatum to Congress party to resolve the issue immediately. Dissatisfied with allotment of three assembly seats, CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy and other CPI leaders today met TJS president Kodandram, TDP president L Ramana. The CPI has demanded nine seats. But it was reported that the Congress agreed to allot only three seats. Venkat Reddy said as an ally of Mahakutmi, the party should be given five seats. CPI state executive meeting would be held late in the evening today and take a decision  on continuing with the Kutami.

Speaking on the occasion,  Kodandram said the Congress should immediately put an end to confusion of seat sharing. He said though the Congress has allotted eight seats to TJS, there is no  clarity about the assembly constituencies .(NSS)
