Hyderabad: The Telangana Jana Samithi formed by Prof. M Kodandaram, a staunch critic of TRS supremo and care-taker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, today hit a first hurdle in the form of its official spokesperson Prof. Jyotsna Tirunagari tendering resignation to the party. She also made severe allegations against the party that lucrative “business” was going on in the party with party leader Kapilvai Dilip Kumar collecting handsome amounts from the ticket aspirants.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Monday, Prof. Jyotsna said she has tendered to the primary membership of the party. She alleged that party senior leader Kapilavai Dileep Kumar was selling party tickets and making hay. “The TJS has become a business centre”, she alleged and said she doesn’t know whether Prof. M Kodandaram knows the scam or not. Alleging that there were many ‘vasool rajas’ and Dileep Kumar was collecting money, she alleged that the party was making one Sathyam to attack her and another man Vishal was making calls to her and her husband threatening to kill them.
Alleging that TJS leaders made the media to publish false news that she was tendering resignation for denying Amberpet ticket to her, Jyotsna wondered why the party was giving top priority to Dileep Kumar, who was insulting women leaders. “The party was not running as per Kodandaram’s aims but was functioning like a ‘money making machine”, she alleged, adding that she paid Rs 2 lakh to Dileep Kumar and the latter was saying that they took the money as party fund. She also said the party leaders were asking whether she could offer a car or a bungalow in return for an MLA ticket.
Jyotsna said the party high command failed to respond even though she lodged a complaint on Rs 2 lakh issue. She said she didn’t tender resignation for not getting TJS ticket and expecting ticket in another party. She also revealed that a few more leaders would come out of the party very soon. (NSS)
