Hyderabad: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced the launch of the company’s second Toyota Driving School (TDS) in the National Capital Region at Toyota’s dealership,-Yashoda Krishna Toyota, in Hyderabad and the tenth in India.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has till date launched ten other driving schools across India in Kochi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai (two driving schools), Kolkata, Faridabad , Vijayawada and Surat to improve safety culture in the country. As a part of the company’s vision of “Safest Car with Safest Driver”, the Toyota Driving School, will ensure that every student becomes a responsible and safe driver.
Minister for Home & Labour Nayani Narsimha Reddy launched the Toyota Driving school at Hyderguda showroom here today. Speaking on the occasion, the Home Minister said “rapid urbanization in India has resulted in ever-increasing motorization. Consequently, people today are exposed to various traffic related predicaments on a day-to-day basis. It is rather relieving to see that the number of fatalities caused by road accidents in the city of Hyderabad reduced by 50percent. “I urge all to come together and keep up this momentum to bring down fatal accidents by engaging various road safety drives. With its meticulous curriculum comprising one of the best safety programs ever, institutes like TDS will envisage a larger role in promoting the importance of creating safer roads for all”.
