TPCC chief Revanth Reddy today alleged that the TRS and the BJP were resorting to cheap politics in the State by leaving public problems behind for the last one week.
He mocked that the leaders of the two parties were behaving like the people at toddy compounds. He also alleged that the BJP was holding its national executive council meetings with the money of corporate companies.
Stating that the Congress had made several promises at the time of the formation of separate Telangana State in the AP Reorganisation Act like the establishment of a steel factory at Bayyaram, ITIR project and the railway coach factory, he asked the Chief Minister why he was not cornering the Centre on the fulfilment of the promises for the last
eight years?
He said KCR focused on the three black farm laws enacted by the Central government for 16 months but he had not questioned the Centre on the injustice done to the State on the issue of GST. He said KCR was indulging in cheap politics by putting up the flexes and hoardings of their party in the State while ignoring any kind of discussion on several public problems.
Targeting State Minister K Tarakarama Rao, Revanth Reddy claimed that he had never seen a cheap politician like KTR in his entire political life. He demanded that the Chief Minister corner the Union government on the issue of the controversial Agnipath scheme.
Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Revanth Reddy said the four crore people of Telangana would not accept Modi as their Prime Minister. He also said Modi, who doubted the formation of the Telangana State, did not have any moral right to step on to the soil of the State.
