Hyderabad: Telangana Congress Women Wing condemned the allegations leveled by one Vijayalaxmi against Congress leader Gandra Venkatramana Reddy and said that the TRS government was trying to defame personal image of Gandra as TRS party was failed to face him politically. “It was shameful on the part of TRS party to use women for low level politics”, she alleged and suggested TRS to stop blackmailing politics.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday along with TPCC Women Wing president Nerella Sharada, Congress national women leader Seethakka demanded the state government to initiate action against Vijayalaxmi by conducting inquiry into her falsehood allegations. She informed that they will meet DGP on the issue. She alleged that the TRS party was trying to weaken the Congress party leaders, who have winning chances in 2019 elections, politically.
Gandra Venkatramana Reddy’s wife Jyothi alleged that the TRS government was trying to destroy the winning chances of her husband by resorting falsehood publicity against him. She said that the people were giving top priority to Gandra Venkatramana Reddy. She thrown challenge to TRS party saying that not to resort ‘adangi’ politics and face her husband in peoples’ field. She warned that they will not keep quiet if criticized their family by believing in a ‘Maya’ lady’s words.
Lawyer Sunitha Rao alleged that the TRS party was resorting to low level politics only to obstruct winning horses of Congress party. She pointed out that the TRS party, which failed to induct women in State Cabinet, was using women for bad motives. (NSS)
