TPCC’s Brainstorming Session ends—Leaders Get Feedback from Grass-root Leaders

Hyderabad: The three day brainstorming session organised by TPCC with the leaders of all parliamentary constituencies of the party,  came to an end on Sunday. The party took up the review of all the 17 MP seats of the state during the three day session.

The top brass of the party from the state led by AICC in-charge of the state RC Kuntia received feedback from the grass-root level leaders  of different constituencies. The leaders urged the party leadership to declare the names of the party candidates at the earliest to ensure their win. The leaders asked the party workers to keep a watch on the issue of deletion of voters. The party has also organised the meetings of its coordination committee and Pradesh Election Committee.

Three AICC secretaries took up the review of all the MP seats assigned to them. On February 15,  the AICC Secretary Srinivasa Krishnan and on February 16, AICC Secretary Saleem and on February 17, AICC Secretary Bosu Raju held the review meetings of the constituencies assigned to them. On the last day of the session, the review of Malakajgiri, Secunderabad , Medak and Hyderabad MP Seats was held by the leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, AICC incharge RC Kuntia and TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the party had faced defeat in the recent assembly elections due to various reasons. They alleged that the ruling TRS party committed several irregularities like EVM Tampering, bribes to voters and misuse of power  to win the elections. They added that the congress party had lost the elections despite the fact that the people of the state were in its favour. They made it clear that the upcoming parliament elections would be held on the basis of national issues and not on the basis of local issues and added that it was the main factor that forced the ruling TRS party to go for an early elections in the state. They asked the party leaders to carry out their campaign as a fight between BJP Leader Narendra Modi and the party president Rahul Gandhi and seek the votes  of the people of the state.

They told them that the people of the state did not have any confidence in Modi’s leadership and added that the party workers should instill the confidence among the people that  development of the state was possible only under the rule of the congress party. They also asked them to tell the people that the ruling TRS party was the B-team of the BJP and added that CM KCR was scared of taking on PM Modi as he was facing CBI cases against him.  The two leaders have alleged that both Modi and CM KCR were the two sides of the same coin,  while claiming that KCR failed to get funds to the state for its development.

Urging the party leaders to adopt wise plans for the victory of the party in the elections, they told them to expose the failure of PM Modi to fulfill his promises like Rs.15 lakh in the bank accounts of all Indians and provision of two crore jobs to the unemployed youth of the country. They alleged that that the ruling BJP was trying to create rift among the different communities of the state in order to  get benefit in the upcoming elections. Noting that 22 lakh eligible voters lost their votes in the recent assembly elections, they asked the party leaders to ensure all such voters got back their votes by forming booth level committees in their respective constituencies.(NSS)
