In preparation for President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Hyderabad on Friday and Saturday, the Hyderabad traffic police have ordered traffic restrictions for two days. Congestion and delays are expected at key junctions and lengths of road during specific hours. CTO intersection, PNT flyover and junction, Hyderabad Public School Out Gate, Begumpet flyover, Green Lands junction, Monappa junction, Yashoda Hospital road, VV Statue junction, Panjagutta junction and NFCL junction are just a few examples.
Buses travelling from Secunderabad to Ameerpet and Mehdipatnam via Begumpet and Raj Bhavan will now use the Upper Tank Bund route. From Monappa intersection to VV Statue, Raj Bhavan Road will be blocked to general traffic, and traffic will be prohibited on Panjagutta-Raj Bhavan Quarters Road (Metro Residency).
Vehicles from CTO Junction and Minister Road will have to stop temporarily at Rasoolpura Junction. Traffic from Punjagutta and Greenland’s junction to Begumpet Airport will also be blocked at Prakashnagar T Junction. Vehicles travelling from Kukatpally and Balanagar via Fateh Nagar bridge to Hyderabad Public School on Begumpet Road will be detoured at Balkampet Yellamma Temple to Maitrivanam Junction via Satyam Theatre.
