In a significant step towards enhancing the technological capabilities of government employees, Deputy Secretary for Information Technology, Electronics, and Communications, Bhavesh Mishra, announced plans to provide Artificial Intelligence (AI) training through the Nalgonda IT Tower. Mishra made the announcement during his visit to the IT Tower, where he was accompanied by District Collector Ila Tripathi and other key officials.
Mishra praised the Nalgonda IT Tower, recognizing its potential as a hub for technology-driven initiatives. He emphasized the need for government employees to adapt to the advancements in AI, which would greatly streamline administrative functions and improve overall efficiency. To kick-start the AI training initiative, Mishra suggested identifying employees and dividing them into 20 batches to ensure the sessions are effective and accessible for all.
“The implementation of AI will not only speed up report generation but also simplify various computer software tasks. This will allow government operations to become more efficient and productive,” Mishra remarked, underscoring the importance of equipping employees with the skills to leverage AI technology in their day-to-day tasks.

Highlighting the growing significance of technology in the region, District Collector Ila Tripathi shared that a Japanese company is planning to set up its operations at the Nalgonda IT Tower. The company, she revealed, aims to employ around 500 software engineers, marking a major boost to the local economy and job market.
As part of the ongoing upgrades to the IT Tower, Mishra also mentioned that advanced AI equipment would be installed at the facility. This development aims to not only facilitate government training but also position Nalgonda as a key player in the digital economy.
The visit was attended by various local officials, including District Industries Manager Koteswar Rao, IT Tower Manager Nagaraju, RDO Ashok Reddy, and local Tahsildar Srinivasulu, among others. The presence of these officials underscores the collective effort to support the implementation of these transformative initiatives for the benefit of the district.
With the AI training set to begin soon, the Nalgonda IT Tower is poised to become a key center for technology-based education and a catalyst for digital transformation within government departments.
