Hyderabad: Veteran Congress party leader K. Jana Reddy today slammed the ruling TRS Party and mocked that the ruling party had gotten used to making promises to the people of the state whenever there is an election in Telangana.
He condemned the allegations made by the chief minister of the state KCR against the Congress Party at the latter’s public meeting held at Halia.

Speaking to media persons in the city, he said that the CM had made baseless allegations against their party to benefit in the upcoming by-elections in Nagarjuna Sagar assembly constituency.

Refuting the allegations of the CM, Jana Reddy it clear that he had secured permissions for nellikal lift irrigation scheme. He said that the ruling party had failed in fulfilling all its poll promises. He asked the TRS party as to what happened to its poll promises like a loan waiver scheme and three acres of farmland to SC and STs of the state.
