TRS Social Media Cell file complaint against BJP for skits against KCR

As a response to the objectionable skits against the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao made by BJP leaders, the TRS Social Media Cell lodged a complaint with the police on Friday and demanded action against them.

In a complaint to Vanasthalipuram ACP, Purushottam Reddy, TRS State Social Media Convenor Y Satish Reddy slammed the BJP State unit for making ‘indecent, obscene and objectionable’ skits against the Chief Minister.

For insulting the Chief Minister, BJP leaders Bandi Sanjay, Premender Reddy, Jitta Balakrishna Reddy and Ranirudrama were named in the complaint.

Satish Reddy said that K Chandrashekhar Rao is more than just the Chief Minister of Telangana; he is also the leader who fought and achieved the state. “His reputation has been tarnished by objectionable skits. It is not a big deal for us to replicate the same on Mr Modi. Asking why he left his wife doesn’t take much effort. We can’t stoop to that level,” he said.

Additionally, he said the skit insulted Telangana government schemes. “The state and nation look up to schemes like Raithu Bandhu and Dalit Bandhu today. India now follows the Telangana model. Remember what BJP MLA Raja Singh said about Dalit Bandhu? Did you not see BJP MLA E. Rajender give tractors under the Dalit Bandhu scheme and pose with them?” he asked.

Satish Reddy said regarding pensions, a skit depicted women killing their husbands, with people like Bandi Sanjay and Premender Reddy enjoying these insensitive jokes backstage.

“I wonder how you became a person who serves people with such a mentality. This is our final warning to BJP leaders. If such incidents occur again, you can expect the same from us, and once we step in, your Gujarati slaves won’t be able to tolerate them. Those who speak ill of, disrespect, or abuse the Chief Minister will not be spared and tolerated,” he warned.
