Hyderabad: Telangana bagged a national leadership award in tourism sector, according to Tourism and Culture secretary B Venkatesham. In a release he said that the new state has bagged the leadership award in eco-tourism and tourist friendly initiatives at a program held in Lucknow.
Uttar Pradesh Tourism Minister Rita Bahuguna gave away the award to Venkatesham. Our state got four national awards in the program conducted to mark world tourism day by UP Government.
He expressed happiness over the awards frequently. Earlier our state achieved best tourism festival award in International Tourism festival held in Portugal. (NSS)
