Hyderabad: A TSRTC bus today run amok at Gachibowli crossroads under Rayadurgam police station limits and run over three pedestrians, who were crossing the road. The three died on the spot. Eye-witnesses said the ghastly accident occurred due to over speed and rash driving.
According to the information, the bus belonging to Hyderabad Central University (HCU) bus depot was speeding towards Koti from Lingampally at around 8 am. After reaching Gachibowli crossroads, the driver tried to avoid hitting another bus and run over three pedestrians. The three were died on the spot.
The police identified one deceased as an autorickshaw driver Dasharath among the three. The police shifted the bodies to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy. (NSS)
