The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) wishes all fathers a happy Father’s Day and is pleased to present a special offer to commemorate the occasion.
As part of its Father’s Day celebrations, TSRTC has decided to give a special offer to fathers in the state.
The TSRTC will provide free travel for fathers travelling with children under the age of five on all bus services, including AC services. The offer is only valid on June 19.
On this occasion, TSRTC Chairman and MLA Bajireddy Govardhan, and Managing Director VC Sajjanar congratulated all fathers and said Father’s Day is a special time of year during which we celebrate our favourite heroes.

TSRTC asks for 609 bus shelters across city
A total of 609 bus shelters have been requested by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation across the city
Over the last few years, there has been a pressing need for such bus shelters in GHMC limits as some of them were either inadequate to meet passenger needs.
In others, bus shelters were damaged or relocated for various reasons, such as to make way for the Hyderabad Metro Rail construction. TSRTC also wants the GHMC to increase the number of bus shelters for passenger convenience.

Some of the bus shelters listed in the exhaustive list are those on the Mehdipatnam-Masab Tank route, the Kalwakurthy bus stop towards Owaisi Hospital, and Madhuban Colony.
It is expected that the bus shelters will vary in size based on footfall and bus frequency. A joint inspection of bus shelters was conducted at several sites, according to TSRTC officials.
During the inspection, it was also determined if more than one shelter is needed at a particular location. According to the officials, the tendering process is underway, and the shelters will be built by the end of the year.
