The TVS Ronin will make its debut in India tomorrow (July 6th). Recent leaks on the internet revealed critical details about the bike’s exterior design.
Formerly associated with the production version of the Zeppelin cruiser, theTVS Ronin nameplate will now come to light for the first time as a scrambler-oriented dual-purpose motorcycle from the Hosur-based two-wheeler maker.
The TVS Ronin appears to come equipped with an interesting exterior design, based on leaked images. Due to its dual-purpose tires, high ground clearance, and golden-dipped USD front fork, it will sport a rugged appearance.
The bike features a dual-tone paint finish and a blacked-out engine. There are curved fenders, a large belly pan, and a side-slung exhaust with a silver tip on the end.
It is likely that the TVS Ronin will be powered by a 223cc, single-cylinder engine that is a bored-out version of the Apache’s 200cc. In spite of the fact that power and torque figures have remained under wraps, the Ronin is expected to possess higher torque figures than its naked sibling, which is a characteristic that suits its unique design.
There will be single discs at both ends and dual-channel ABS. The Ronin is likely to have all the features its siblings have. A color TFT screen and Bluetooth functionality are likely to be included, as well as riding modes.
There are rumors that the Ronin could also be accompanied by a cruiser, but all of the teaser images indicate that the Ronin will be launched first.
Therefore, we can expect the Ronin to be closely related to the Zepplin concept, although a scrambler design. As a result, it will have heavy-looking sump guards and dual-purpose tires. However, they are wrapped around alloy wheels. In addition to the inverted forks, the Ronin features a single-piece seat and golden-finished fork bottles.
