Two more Districts added in Telangana state, Collector’s & SP’s appointed

Hyderabad: Two more districts in Telanagana State will come into being from February 17, the birthday of TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

To this effect, the State government released a gazette notification on Saturday creating Mulugu and Narayanpet districts. With these, the total number of districts in new Telangana State has risen to 33. The ruling party leaders were claiming that the new districts are a gift from the Chief Minister on his birthday.

The State government has also appointed District Collectors and Superintendents of Police to new districts of Naryanapet and Mulugu.

It issued orders directing Mahabubnagar Collector Ronald Ross to take the additional charge as Narayanapet Collector, SP Rema Rajeshwari additional charge. Also the government asked Bhupalapally Collector Venkateshwarlu to hold additional charge as Mulgu Collector and SP Bhasker to hold the SP of Mulugu as additional charge.(NSS)
