Russia recently announced a humanitarian ceasefire for the civilians to flee Sumy. Following the update, the Ukrainian capital city Kiev informed that they have successfully completed the evacuation process.
Around 5000 People Already In Safety
As per Kyrylo Tymoshenko, the Deputy Head of Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky’s office, the mission has successfully evacuated around 5000 people and more than 1000 private vehicles were already in safety.
On his Telegram account on Wednesday, Tymoshenko posted footage of people arriving at the railway station at night. Although, no further details were provided and a video surfacing hasn’t been verified either.

Sumy, which is close to the Russian line, has for a really long time been under furious Russian barrage. On Monday alone, 22 individuals, including three youngsters, were killed in Russian air strikes, neighborhood government authorities said.
Indian Students Evacuated From Sumy
All Indian students abandoned in the conflict torn Ukrainian city of Sumy have been moved out and trips under Operation Ganga are being ready to bring them back home, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Tuesday.
MEA representative Arindam Bagchi said the Indian students moved out of Sumy were being taken to Poltava, from where they will board trains to western Ukraine. Poltava is a good ways off of around 175 km from Sumy.

“Glad to illuminate that we have had the option to move out all Indian students from Sumy. They are at present in transit to Poltava, from where they will board trains to western Ukraine,” Mr Bagchi tweeted. “Trips under Operation Ganga are being ready to bring them home,” he said.
Mr Bagchi, in any case, didn’t determine from which line point and when will they be emptied from Ukraine to load up trips for their re-visitation of India. The MEA representative additionally posted a video on Twitter showing Indian students having rewards in the background of left transports.
