Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Minister Kinjarapu Achennaidu has cancelled his Tekkali tour and other official programs in the context of Araku MLA Kidaro Surveshwara Rao’s killing by Maoists today.
Speaking on the occasion, Achennaidu condemned the murder of Surveshwara Rao. He said this sort of actions were not correct in the democracy. It was atrocious on the part of Maoists to kill the public representative who were striving for the development of the Agency area. He expressed shock over the deaths of MLA Kidari and former MLA Soma at the hands of Maoists. He asked the District Collector and SP to know about the details of the incident. (NSS)
